House of Melo
Opening October 25, 2025 at the Central Library, the exhibit will transform our historic 350,000-square-foot building into House of Melo HQ. Visitors will experience rare artifacts, personal collections and cultural mementos that highlight Anthony’s impact on sports, style, business, and social justice. The exhibit will remain on view through late December and is free and open to all.
This multi-layered celebration extends beyond the Central Library. Through public programs and neighborhood branch activations, the initiative reflects both Anthony’s legacy and the Library’s mission: to make culture, history, and opportunity accessible to everyone.
Curated by award-winning writer D. Watkins and creative director Khalilah Beavers, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to explore unseen aspects of Anthony’s journey while celebrating the resilience and creativity of Baltimore.
